JOSIE – Overcoming Fear and Blossomimng

Josie's story - a rescue from Slovenia

Josie, a sweet but timid dog, arrived from Slovenia having only known life isolated in an outdoor kennel. Never socialized, everything seemed frightening—loud noises on walks overloaded her senses. Yet with her new owner’s constant help acclimating her through gentle exposure, Josie gained slowly comfort navigating daily life.

One fear persisted though – towards her owner’s sister. Through EFT tapping, the root cause emerged: the sister subconsciously reminded Josie of her traumatic separation from her mom and litter. That long-suppressed panic still was locked in her body.

With just two surrogate tapping sessions focused on clearing that emotional shock from her memory, a transformation emerged. Josie now eagerly seeks affection from the once-feared sister. Their new friendship helps Josie learn to trust, feel joy and connect, after so much time in isolation.

EFT offers panic and trauma release – even for our animal friends – replacing turmoil with blossoming trust and inner peace. Josie’s triumph reminds us connections heal.

YOSHI – Performance Stress

Yoshi was in the Prison Animal Program for puppies before he was adopted
Yoshi is a born athlete – he loves everything sport. One of many things he does is Agility. During his first year of training he went through a phase, were he was not motivated and run very slow. Interesting things emerged during  a tapping session: The prisoner who trained Yoshi  would feel bad and thought that he failed when Yoshi did not excel. That was a lot of pressure for him as a puppy. Another thing that surfaced was that he felt that he was the rant of the litter. He believed, that that was the reason why he was given away. He was afraid if he was not good enough that he will be given away again. Running slow for him was a way to react to those stuck feelings. After Tapping he started to run with ambition again and I gave him space and trusted him to succeed on his own term.

ENZO –wanting food too early in the morning

Rescue; Enzo was adopted when he was already a couple years old into a family with one more cat. Enzo was in love with the family's son Liam.

Since a while Enzo was waking his owner Bob up around 5am in the morning and wanting food. It turned out that Enzo had still some anxiety when he was given away from his former owner because the got a dog. When his current family’s son, Liam, moved away for college, it reminded him of his former experience in life. After several sessions we where able to identify all the aspects and Enzo found peace and Bob more sleep.

MAKK – Car Anxiety

WBCR Rescue; was returned to shelter twice; found his forever home when he was 1 year

Makk had extreme stress in the car. He started to drool excessively soaking blankets and seat. He starred in one direction and puked occasionally .

I started to put him in the car as often as possibly and had him sit 1/2h in the car before we even left. I tapped with him while in the car on his emotional and bodily stress he experienced. Additionally I did a Qigong healing session every other day. I saw improvements daily. He drooled less and lesser and started to lay down during the ride. After two weeks his car stress was gone and he started to enjoy the ride. From his foster parents I know that he dealt with this since he was a puppy. This might have been an additional reason why he was returned twice to the shelter.

A wonderful example on how fast animals are willing to give up their resistance and how quickly EFT can work.

Flower – walking on top of the owner during the night and wanting food & attention

Rescue; Flower was adopted from the alley when she was 8 month old, she is 16 years

During the last month Flower got into the habit of waking her owner up at 3pm and wanting to be fed. It the tapping session it turned out, that she felt lonely after her two cat friends passed recently. She compensated with food when she didn’t feel emotionally well. After several rounds of tapping she realized that she had a choice and she could feel comfortable without food. Additionally an invisible cat companion showed up and offered to stay with her. The “early mornings wake up calls” eased away.

Makk – surrogate tapping on escaped dog

When visiting Costa Rica with my husband, we put our dogs up with a family they had stayed before. First email I read on vacation was from our pet sitters, informing me Makk, one of my dogs had escaped. It was 11pm in the evening. Of course I was freaked out. I knew that I had to chill down in order to be of any help. I started tapping on my stress and my bodily feelings of the shock that just happened. Then I surrogate tapped with my husband: why he escaped, how he was feeling and what his state of mind was. It quickly surfaced that he thought that this was a game and he love to play. But his sitters clearly didn’t understand the game so he got confused and he was not sure what to do. We sent him the picture of him coming back walking into the house finding comfort, food and his brother Yoshi.

The idea to call my mentor and ask her to surrogate tap with me followed. She lives in Australia and it was daytime. She got my email and was available for an hour. We both sensed that Makk got the impression that he was a bad boy and had done something wrong as the sitters were so freaked out. He tried to get back but was hesitant. We energized the sitters house as a very attractive visual for Makk. Full of my love and the fun we were going to have when we would meet again after a couple of night sleeps. We sent him pictures of love, joy and playing time and made it clear that he had to come back to this house in order to get back to me.

We created this center of love and attraction in the sitters house for him. Naomi my mentor and I sensed that it was the freaked out energy of the sitters which keep him from returning. She suggested to call and ask them to chill out and leave the door open for him. They sent my a text that they went to bed as it was already after midnight. Naomi thought that was actually good thing for the energy to calm down and give Makk a chance to come back.

She said that she repeatedly was getting the visual that he would return at 2AM. I continued to tap on my own feelings and Makk’s impressions until 2am my time to reinforce the 2AM image. Then I went to bed and felt very good about the whole event. At 6AM in the morning I got a text from my sitter saying that they caught Makk jumping over their 6ft fence exactly at 2AM in the morning!! This was thrilling to get confirmation on how amazingly tapping and the alignment with the universe works.
