EFT Coaching for You
and your Animals
Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) releases old thought patterns that created stress, fears and anxiety. It heals emotional wounds, can alleviate physical pain and helps animals in training or working environments to slow down and focus.
I offer Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping) for you and your animals. Through Surrogate Tapping we tune into the experience of the animal. During a tapping sessions common themes emerge such as: early separation from the litter; fear of being returned to a rescue; confusion about what is required of them or performance stress if they are a sport dog, being parted from an owner or sale of an animal friend.
After my EFT certification 2020, I started to work with numerous pets and my own animals. I am fascinated by discovering what lies behind their behaviors.
EFT can ease your pets emotions and releases stress and triggers from events of their past. This works for any pet. EFT is a healing modality that quiets the nervous system in people and pets. It involves tapping on a sequence of certain acupressure points, mostly around the head and face, with the intention of releasing trapped emotions.
EFT, also known as Tapping, releases old thought patterns that create fears, phobias and anxiety in people, dogs and cats. It heals emotional wounds, can alleviate physical pain, and helps animals in training and/or working environments to slow down and focus.I for example use it right away when they get insured or sick. It is humbling how quickly an animal can come to neutralizing their issues.
How it works
We are actually not tapping on the pet itself but on the owner’s tapping points. It is also called Surrogate Tapping.
The human/owner taps on meridian endpoints on their own body while concentrating on the animal and their issues. You “tap for” the animal, acting as their surrogate.
First we will address issues the owner has with the problem and then switch to talk about the pet’s issue transitioning and talk from the animal’s perspective. Whatever comes to mind is valid and will be tapped on.
Let’s chat! Anything you want to ask and learn how we can potentially working together. I offer meetings online via Zoom (optional by FaceTime or by phone).
Over 320 studies have been done on Clinical EFT, with additionally over 100+ papers/case studies in peer-reviewed journals, EFT is recognized as evidence-based, effective for self-help, and used in healthcare settings. The research adheres to criteria set by the American Psychological Association.
Tapping points
We use those tapping points for surrogate tapping as well as for regular tapping
Side of the hand tapping point
In EFT we tap on the side of the hand for what is called Psychological Reversal
Psychological Reversal is a subconscious condition of self-sabotage. it is easier to stay stuck in old patterns than creating a new one. Chinese Medicine says that when a living being is under stress, especially for a long time, the energy in the meridians can become stagnant, or even reversed. The side of the hand point lays on the small intestine meridian.
Each energy meridian is part of a network that is related to a body organ or function, and each one embodies a way of thinking, a story about what is happening inside us, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually – our way of responding to life.
Tapping on this point in the Setup corrects the Psychological Reversal.

Clinical EFT works excellent with escaped or lost animals. I experienced this with my own dog when I was in Costa Ricca and my dog escaped the sitters home.

Is your dog often shy, insecure, or fearful? Dogs’ nervousness manifests in several ways. Some dogs lunge or bark at whatever is frightening them, or hunker down and freeze until the scary thing goes away. Other dogs show more subtle signs of discomfort.
